It is finally up. I’m not sure if I am the first to do this, but I haven’t seen another documentary film’s website do this yet. I decided to pull stills out of the actual footage and then create a blog based on the actual shooting dates and tried to write posts that blended what it was like for us as filmmakers during the process as well as give a taste of the story-lines followed in the actual documentary.
Pulling stills from actual footage is a slow and tedious process. I hope you enjoy it and that it was worthwhile. We will continue to catch up on past shooting days not yet up on the website as well as add with each new day we film.
So far we have almost 500 unique visits with many people linger on the site viewing different pages and posts and we’ve only been up less than a week.
Last week the Albany Fox affiliate interviewed me about the documentary while we were shooting on location. I don’t know if it will every be broadcast but it felt like the start of the ball rolling. We also signed a publicist to the film. Margarita Sophia Cortes at MSophia PR. She has worked on some AMAZING documentaries and we are THRILLED to have her on board!!
