A television series based on the life of Annie Londonderry, the first woman to circumnavigate the world on a bicycle in 1894. Adapted from the book, “Around the World on Two Wheels: Annie Londonderry’s Extraordinary Ride” by New York Times Best Selling author Peter Zheutlin. The TV Pilot based on the book, Londonderry, was selected for WeForShe’s 2018 WriterHer 'Ones to Watch’ List.
Annie Londonderry is the subject of a CINE Golden Eagle award winning short documentary, the theater piece SPIN and numerous bicycle events. Zheutlin’s book has been published in Italy, South Korea and Germany.
Annie Londonderry’s adventures are currently featured in the International Bicycle Exhibition, a four year touring museum exhibit that opened at the Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem in 2017 and will be touring to The Universum in Bremen, Germany, Citta Della Scienza in Naples, Italy, and finishing in October 2020 at Ottawa’s Canada Museum of Science and Technology.
